Yesterday I had the pleasure of joining my family for a Festive Afternoon Tea at The Brookfield Hotel in Emsworth, Hampshire. It was my first ever visit to an Afternoon Tea so I was quite looking forward to experiencing all the treats on offer!
It’s cold. It snowed briefly and I had to get myself out of bed early for the first time in 5 days yesterday. It was a short break for Christmas but well needed. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas break (or are still enjoying it!) and ate copious amount of food and drank lots of wine.
Just a short post to wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope you have a fab New Year! Eat as much as you want until you explode, hope you get what you want for Christmas and spend some quality time with your family and friends.
Thank you to those of you who have been supporting my blog over the last couple of months since I started doing it. Much love to you all!
See you all in 2018.
Everyone has a bucket list right? A list of theme parks or coasters that you really want to ride. I love checking out the latest news of new creds opening out around the world or parks that you really want to visit because they might have that ‘Number One’ coaster that everyone raves about. So I might have compiled a Theme Park wish list (includes coasters/rides too!) of what I would love to tick off over the next few years.
There is something magical about this time of year. Away from the horrors of Halloween season, it is a time of giving, pretty lights and the happiness from children that Christmas is just around the corner… Unless you are still stuck doing your Christmas shopping then I don’t envy you. The one thing I do love seeing is how theme parks enjoy the Christmas season every year. I know the UK theme parks are pretty much shut but you can’t deny that there are some pretty good events you can visit during the Christmas season in the UK as well as abroad.
It is very rare for people to come up to me and ask me about my hobby, being a theme park enthusiast. Sometimes I do wonder if its because I am a woman and therefore people might find it weird that I enjoy theme parks. More so because I love the engineering behind the coasters, the operations of a theme park and how throughputs can really help make or break a park. Whatever the reason, let me tell you the reasons why I love being a theme park enthusiast.
