So… hey there again! It’s been a long 4 months since I last wrote a blog post on here. And yes, that’s incredibly bad of me and I should be more motivated – in all fairness, I completely lost touch with writing content and other stuff has been going on behind the scenes so here I am, writing a blog post again! Yay!
Where on earth is this year going? It’s September already and we’re now entering my favourite time of year – hello Halloween, my birthday and Christmas! I cannot wait, and I’m even more excited that I am off to Germany/Netherlands/Belgium NEXT WEEK! A week of theme parks is just what I need right now, and hopefully I will reach my 400 milestone on my coaster count – wonder what will take that spot? Anyway, since August has literally flown by, I thought I would reflect on my August favourites!
I don’t quite know why this idea came into my head – simply from compiling an email for work then I decided this would be a good blog post to write up! – but it got me thinking about those moment where you people watch when queuing up for a coaster. Even as a theme park enthusiast, you can’t deny that you will have at one point in your life, made one of these faces on any coaster – be it as a child or as an adult.
When it comes to visiting a theme park, we would all love to have Mary Poppins style pockets that can hold everything we could ever need to take to a theme park. Imagine never having to bag faff ever again?? One can only dream! I like to think I am pretty savvy when it comes to packing my theme park bag, however I always try to bring stuff that I know I will need – even though we can’t predict what will happen on the day.
You know when some people still don’t understand your hobby with theme parks? Yeah, that’s me. I don’t really need to justify why I love theme parks so much but maybe you want to find out why I love them so much – to be honest, 90% of my blog is about theme parks so that’s a hint… No one will be able to separate me from my love of theme parks – it’s a part of my life and it’s going to stay that way! *wink*
Howdy everyone! Happy New Year to you all, hope you had a good Christmas. I know I have been very quiet on the blog front lately – trust me, laziness and a lot of stuff happening at home has meant I’ve been feeling a tad sour about blogging. I am back, as I have some vague ideas on what to write about – not a lot mind you!
If you are feeling the true closed season blues, and believe me I am certainly feeling it, now that the theme parks are shut for the winter, never fear as there are plenty of things you can do to keep yourself amused during this winter season.
I feel like this is a subject that isn’t really touched upon within the enthusiast world or if it does, it turns into a massive discussion/debate (I’m making a massive assumption here!). Anywho, I have been a long-time enthusiast and have observed how the community, as it were, has changed. And there are some negative points that I feel like sharing. Judge me all you want, maybe some enthusiasts might relate?
I’ve seen a few people do these style of blog posts and I thought I join in on the bandwagon. So, in case you didn’t know, I’m 26 years old – getting ever so close to 30. And I personally don’t feel like I have truly lived my life to the fullest – mostly down to money or lack thereof. However, I have learnt an awful lot whilst growing up and understanding more about the world around me.
