With all the upcoming news about the new area, Tornado Springs, coming to Paultons Park in 2020 – which I am eagerly waiting for might I add! – I couldn’t help but put the spotlight on my local park. If you are not aware, Paultons Park is based in Ower, near Southampton and is possibly, one of my favourite parks to visit. Might be slightly biased as I have pretty much grown up with the park!
You know when some people still don’t understand your hobby with theme parks? Yeah, that’s me. I don’t really need to justify why I love theme parks so much but maybe you want to find out why I love them so much – to be honest, 90% of my blog is about theme parks so that’s a hint… No one will be able to separate me from my love of theme parks – it’s a part of my life and it’s going to stay that way! *wink*
On 20th February 2019, Thorpe Park officially announced the closure of Loggers Leap, after many years of speculation as to whether the ride would return to the park line-up. I feel quite sad about this as Loggers was a firm favourite of mine and I have many childhood memories riding this with family and friends alike. Is this really the end of log flumes in the UK as we know it?
